If you’re noticing a lack of bounce and the rails are making a thud sound when struck, it could be a sign that your cushions need replacing. Before replacing them, make sure your rails are bolted tightly. Often, your cushions can feel dead if your rails are loose. If they’re bolted tightly and still lack bounce, then it’s time to upgrade your pool table cushions.

K-66 vs. K-55 vs. U-23 Styles

The difference between K66, K55 and U23 cushions are slight variations in dimension and thickness. Most pool tables are universally compatible with any cushion type, and for casual play any of these options will play well.
